"Room was very nice. Clean. Some broken light bulbs in the bathroom. I wasn't able to get the TV connected to the internet. The environment was very noisy. Nice neighborhood though. Great location. Unfortunately the noise was a real bummer. I didn't sleep as long as I would have liked to."

"Our corner room was large with a nice view of the Benjamin Franklin bridge; hotel is in a great waterfront location with parks and pathways. Staff were were excellent, helpful and respectful. The location is ideal for seeing a concert at the Freedom Mortgage Pavilion which is about a 15 minute walk along the waterfront."

"We particularly liked the breakfast every morning and the happy hour from 5-6. The staff was extremely responsive. We would definitely stay here again particularly for the proximity to the Philly sites. The Visitor's Center, Independence Hall and Liberty Bell are within a block or two. Thanks for a great stay."

"Our first room's thermostat was not working properly (stayed 74 Farhenheit the whole night with high fan mode) so they switched to another room the next day which we were grateful for. However, the new room had mold at the corner of the shower booth as the water was dripping constantly from the shower head and one of the nightstand's light wasn't working. "I enjoyed my stay at this quaint boutique hotel. The staff was extremely helpful and kind throughout my visit. The hotel is tucked just off Rittenhouse Square on a charming side street, and walking to Walnut Street for shopping and dining couldn’t have been easier. The complimentary breakfast was lovely, and the rooms were tastefully decorated. I truly loved my experience here and plan to stay again anytime I’m in Philadelphia. I would highly recommend it to my friends."

"The location was great. Near the Philadelphia Art Museum and close to restaurants. But they had scant front desk service. And way too many high tech amenities which were frustrating to use. The hallways were not lit until you stepped into them. A little scary as there was a delay before they turned on. I’d go back if I were going to the Philadelphia Art museum but I’d stay at a more traditional hotel if I were visiting other historical sites."

"Rooms are smaller than a newer hotel but not SMALL imho. The bathroom is a little small but again, the building was built in the 20’s? In any case, building has been updated beautifully. Room had character that could only be found in an historic building. Front desk staff was the nicest I had encountered anywhere!! Bed was comfortable and the linens were clean and crisp.
