"This was an acceptable, no frills accommodation. Other than checking in, I never saw any staff during my four-day stay. The room came with ear plugs, which can be necessary, as the walls are paper-thin and you can hear everything happening in the other rooms. The biggest deficiency of the rooms was the lack of any type of desk or table in order to deal with any type of work. All in all, acceptable, but nothing great. At the same time, there are not many options in Waldport."

"Show up and check. The clerk walks me to the room. Was nice with a good attitude. My wife and I go in get settled in. Go to bath room and the knob for the timed fan is missing. Little rooms, the fan is important and no remote for the t.v. Told clerk about it. Had us move to another room. Noticed the bed was a full on a rickety walmart folding bed. Ordered a king, For which I needed. So, my wife and I didnt get good rest battling FLEAS most of the night And the bathroom fan still didn't work.."

"Lovely place in quiet setting with just the sound of the ocean waves to lull us to sleep. Hospitable and attentive staff. Comfortable room with expansive view to ocean. Guest rooms in different corners of the lodge to give privacy. Generous breakfast. Pathway directly to beautiful beach. Would stay again if back in Newport area. "

"This had all of the key things I was hoping for. This does not often happen at an affordable price. Clean, nice size refrigerator that is cold, microwave, great desk for working and a comfortable office chair. Nice TV and internet connection made this a fortunate selection for a 19 day work trip. "It’s a shame you cannot access the beach from the resort- our dog was very sad and so was our extremely muddy sandy car after we had to drive to the beach but other that a well taken care of older condominiums"
