"I stayed at Earthquest Lodge for 3 nights and it was an excellent choice! Quiet and clean and the host was very kind, accommodating all requests, like nightstand lamp, coffee maker, ground coffee (from the house, thank you for saving my mornings!). The room was clean, with new mattress, all amenities, quiet area, ideal for resting and peace. Everything is at walking distance, the beach, the dining places and most of all, the famous submarine! "It was unbearably hot in the room. Screen on sliding door was broken so we couldn't leave the door open. Only one of three windows had a screen. Thermostat was set to off but one of the electric heaters was blasting heat. It was a very uncomfortably hot night with only one window open. Air conditioner was not installed. Room and washroom were not very clean. Windows and areas around windows and sliding door were filthy. Looked like they had not been cleaned yet from the winter. The bed was...

"The rooms are simple and very clean. We had a ground floor room facing the river. Outstanding! Lovely seating areas to watch the wildlife on the river. We saw a beaver, muskrat, mallards, wood ducks, blue jays, geese, crows,etc. A short drive into town for food or to the beach (gorgeous). The room had a shower/bathtub combo, DVD player, live TV, fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and a kettle. Free wifi. We would definitely book again!"

"David and Stefan made us feel at home immediately. In our three night stay here, there is absolutely nothing to criticize. All meals were fabulous. There is always something of interest to do here, whether it be hiking, paddling on the pond, relaxing or reading.
