" Staff (Peggy) was very friendly and accommodating. Family and I used to come fairly often 25-30 years ago. Nice to see they have the same themed rooms. As always, being right on the ocean front, dealing with sand and TLC for the property is a constant job. I spent four nights there and really enjoyed myself. There was a time a number of years ago when they no longer allowed children. Not sure that is still the case, but would be worthwhile to check. "

"Excellent location. Right on the beach and there’s a nice ocean front gravel trail that goes around the rocky area and connects back to the sandy beach when it resumes. Property is well maintained. My only complaint was the mattress. It was ok but uneven. Either older or never rotated. But still reasonably comfortable. "

"This was my third stay at the Silver Surf motel, I just love it! My two kids and I have been meeting up with my mom and aunt every year in adjoining rooms. It's very rustic, so if your looking for luxury, this is not the place for you. But if you're looking for a rustic, take cozy place to call home right on the beach, look no further! This place has comfy beds, and functional kitchenette making it feel more like a rental house than a motel.The kids love the indoor pool and the adults look...

"The office closes early so if you arrive after 5:00pm you can’t get ice and need to phone for any emergency That is my only negative. "

"This property had large mold growing along the wall. By the curtains and mold growing above the bathroom sink. Thank you so much. Spoke to the manager manager stated that it's a very old building and all the rooms have mold in it. The receptionist was very rude. You can tell she had a problem that my husband was a black man. She was listening to politics when we walked in. Didn't bother to shut it off.After a comment was made had an attitude.When you asked for help. "

"The best thing is the location. You can walk to the cute shopping and dining area of town in less than 5 minutes. The hotel itself needs some upgrades. Like a toilet that does run and warmer blankets. "

"This motel is a 5 minute walk to the ocean. It was very quiet, clean and well appointed with comfortable beds. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. I just really enjoyed my stay there and will stay there again when I am in the area."
