"Perfect place to stay in the quiet and laid back village of Dounby as it is close to a lot of archeological sites which are about 10 to 20 minutes away in every direction. Very friendly and attentive staff. Great food as well. Spacious parking in the back. There is a gas station and a market across the street so you don’t have to worry about driving too far to refuel and get food. This place will be my go-to the next time I travel to Orkney Islands!"

If you want room service ordered through your TV then stay away. Sensational breakfast (that can also serve as lunch and beyond). "We loved the tour of the facility and our room. Help with parking was so useful for ease of getting out of the lot. My wife needed medicine kept cold and ice packs frozen and had no issues having this done for us. Because we were leaving before breakfast a to go meal was provided for us."

"Our stay was great. We were delayed into town due to a canceled flight but Callum was there when we arrived and promptly showed us to our room. Our room was clean and sufficient for our needs. The area is good for walking around Wick. We didn’t have a chance to have a drink in the bar as it was closed the two evenings we were there. I would recommend and we plan to return again "
