Very cute hotel with comfortable beds and great pillows. Used the free transportation to the parks. I stayed one night and loved the free parking. New Orleans themed hotel with deliciuos beignets. Would stay there again and would recommend to friends too.

It is very family friendly. If you have kids perfect place. If you do not want to be in close proximity to a lot of children then may not be for you, I didn’t have children but still enjoyed my stay and would still recommend.

The resort was very nice, clean, had boat and bus shuttles to the Disney parks and attractions. The pool was quite large and plenty of areas for both kids and adults.

Love the location and great area to stay on your Disney World vacation. Not a big resort which means closer rooms to food court and pool. The bus transportation to the park is great. Enjoyed boat ride to Disney Springs.

Like all Disney properties Port Orleans was clean and the rooms were nice albeit a tad dated. The staff was great and I love the convenience of staying on property and having transportation. I've never been disappointed staying on any Disney property!

The refurbishment of the room was really nice & it was clean. However the drapes are not blackout. They are short at the bottom and gapped at the top. If you are facing the parking lot prepare for that 7AM sunshine to come right on in. After the late til midnight parade and my son waking up with the sun… I needed to be laid to rest at The Haunted Mansion. Also NO WATERS! No complementary waters, just a vending machine outside with a SmartWater for $6.50! Less for a Dasani but ew. Didn’t like the smell of the body wash either but that’s whatever.

A wonderful trip

The staff are all super friendly. We enjoyed using both this and the sister hotel. We loved using the boat to get about too. The only downside of the whole time was the low-quality, narrow choice of food options. A good idea would be to have completely different menus in Riverside and French Q. Or perhaps to have changing menus for variety. Everything else was superb. Lovely size and style.

Had a few hiccups during our stay but Chris the manager made sure we had a magical stay!!! Only complaint is that the beds were never made they came and emptied garbage and replaced towels but that was it. I’m assuming due to Covid or understaffing. Overall this is a great resort one of the smaller ones at Disney. Everything is close by not far away and spread out like the others. Staff here was wonderful!

These properties often have no coffee maker, but this one did. No microwave however. Disney food court prices are often outrageous, but seemed fairly comparable this trip. The buttermilk chicken was particularly good. We stayed a week and they only came in once to clean orc empty the trash.

Not a good stay

This was my first time staying in Disney property and my expectations were high from what I’ve heard in the past but it was not what I expected. First, they don’t clean everyday. We requested additional cleaning and when we got to the hotel at 11pm it was not cleaned. Then, cleaning crew came almost at midnight saying they were going to clean and I was putting my kids to sleep. We requested service again and all they did was bring new towels. The beds were super uncomfortable and the room is not updated at all. We can barely get the soap out of the container because it was glued to the wall. We asked for extra blankets and then when they service the room they took them and never brought them back. The restaurant area some of the people serving the food were extremely rude. I wouldn’t stay here again. I also, mentioned it to the manager and he didn’t seem to care.
