"Hotel staff were lovely and helpful, we had a lovely meal in the river room which was turkey and ham so delicious. Breakfast was great and plenty of choice. Our room was excellent a standard twin with two big double beds, the room was super clean. The fridge was great to keep drinks cool. The staff work so hard and are a credit to the hotel. Really enjoyed our stay. The reception was a lovely smell when you arrive. The only thing which was disappointing was the horrendous smell in the ladies...

"I found the location was ideal near Grand Central Station. Every member of staff was cheerful and helpful. My room was immaculately clean with comfortable bedding and a great shower. The bar menu was very good value and as a solo traveller I was very comfortable dining alone there. The breakfast buffet was self service with very good choices of hot and continental style. I would go back to this property if visiting again.

"The room was clean, and the place is alright. But 2 issues: My room had an electric shower and it didn’t work right. Same low pressure whether the knob is on low, eco, or high. And the water temperature swings were insane: it kept alternating between freezing and burning every 10-15 seconds.
And then the second point was the mattress; not exactly comfortable. If this was a hostel or a two-star hotel, I wouldn’t complain.
But this is meant to be a four-star hotel… I had a “luxury room” that...
