"The front desk staff were all helpful and attentive. The breakfast had a large selection of food though it rarely varied. The rooftop bar opened for the season while we were there and it was extremely nice with a nice selection. Bartenders went out of their way to accommodate our group and was much appreciated.

"This has been the best hotel I've stayed (3rd week in May) at in the 10 years I've been traveling to Europe. From the immaculate room, the delicious breakfast & dinner selections, the helpful staff, & the convenient location, this hotel is beyond awesome!
I've never stayed at a place like this before & I booked it 6 months before for its historical significance, but it has blown away.
I only regret that I didn't stay longer! Every hotel should be like this! Thank you!!!"

"I had a great stay at Hotel AX during my visit to Helsinki. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast buffet was delicious with plenty of options to choose from.
One thing I really appreciated was the location. There is a tram stop right in front of the hotel, making it easy to get around the city. It was also conveniently located less than 10 minutes from the ferry terminal, which made my trip to Tallinn very easy and stress-free.

Breakfast was okay.
Sauna area was very dirty first day and overcrowded! Pool had a bunch of rowdy kids jumping in, running around and yelling.
Second day much quieter. Gym next door treadmill not working. Pool is cold.
Final day sauna not working.
The ladies shower doors open onto the pool deck .. people in pool can watch you shower."
