Staff was wonderful: Welcoming and friendly and helpful. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and spacious. Everything was updated/renovated while keeping the old charm of the building. Snacks/waters in room were nice touch! Lots of fluffy towels provided. Felt safe and comfortable.

Staff were very helpful. Room was ready early. Decor a bit dated but bathroom more modern. Shower absolutely dreadful, very low water pressure and a stonestream head which is awful if you have thick hair to wash! Overall a nice weekend and I would stay again.

Good hotel

Hotel was located an easy 5 to 10 min walk from all the shops, bars, restaurants and sight seeing attractions. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel was clean and comfy, our room was large and bright, all very nice, great experience. There is a little cafe next door where we had a lovely breakfast.

I enjoyed a two night stay here while I saw the highlights of Oxford convenient from the bus station and also to the train station a bit of a walk into the town. Hotel is older and shows the wear, My room was quite large and quiet and very comfortable. Staff was very pleasant and I appreciated them. Texting me when my room was ready. The stairs were hard with a suitcase, which was the only real negative to this property

The hotel is near the train station and near the City Centre. Our room was clean and big enough for 3 persons. There is no lift there, with heavy bags or for older people this might be a problem. The bathroom also had a good size but it was nearly impossible to shower with a convenient temperature, either too hot or too cold. The staff was friendly.
