"A rather shabby hotel which save for the restaurant is served by obviously demotivated and poorly trained staff . The attention to detail was quite shocking . The lift was out of order to the the 4th floor and being " urgently " repaired - over a 24 hour period there was no sign of any repair activity , the bar crowded and sporadically staffed. The doormen shuffling about with their shirt tails hanging out and filthy chandeliers in reception. This hotel is an overpriced and dreary place ."

"Great location, just outside the main high street and close to beautiful walking paths along the river. Also, surprisingly quiet. The only downside was the quality and price of the food. However, great place for a drink on the patio and lots of food options available within walking distance. Felt a bit sorry for the staff, they seemed overwhelmed and as a result, not very happy. Overall, would return if visiting Oxford again."

"We had a really nice stay. Our room was clear and well appointed. The staff were all wonderful. We also enjoyed the breakfast. We would suggest that the outdoor facilities, flowers ect. were more attented to."

"Super clean and modern unit right off the main drag in Oxford. The only issue here was the noise from the unit above, sounds like they are crashing around, but they are just walking. Besides this 5 star and bring earplugs"

"A quiet part of Oxford, walking distance to most colleges (plus theaters and pubs), clean rooms, very friendly staff. Highly recommend."
