"Parking fee!! Be aware! Expedia informed me this would be a $376 stay and I was skeptical when others were saying there is a parking fee they charge and inform you about (they should include this! Being informed of the parking fee upon arrival is ridiculous) When we arrived to the hotel, the front desk personnel informed us there is a usual parking fee but this time around it’s complementary. After our stay, we still weren’t told what the price of the parking fee was. Come to find out it was $28/ per night!! We paid a total of $84 for parking! We definitely won’t be returning to this hotel or any Marriot partners. Price gouging at its finest!"

"Room was discussing, felt like an hourly room. Dirty sheets, dirty towels, dirty hand prints on the walls. Had to get our own sheets, blanket, and pillows from the store. Ice is dirty with black specs in it. Soap in tge room smelt like vomit."

"Overall stay was very adequate. Walkable distance to downtown and a CVS nearby in case you need to get a few things. Bed was comfortable and sleep area is spacious, though it could use a place to open suitcases. Room is decently clean but not perfect (dusty corners, specks on walls). Nothing gross, just shabby. I think it could use some care (chipping paint, dings on walls) because the condition makes it look less clean than it probably is. I tend to be more forgiving of those things in privately owned hotels, which this is. Parking was fine. Staff is very courteous; gentleman at front desk was so nice and polite. In-room mini fridge and microwave were a plus. The only major downside is the bathroom, which is tiny. The door barely clears the toilet and is inches from the sink and shower. There is no counter space for toiletries outside of the very small ledge of the sink. The shower has great water pressure, but the curtain doesn't cover the whole tub, creating puddles of water on the floor. (This is very noticeable in such a small space!) Bath towels were also thin and small, but not a deal breaker. In summary, decent little spot for low-maintenance travelers without kids. Not flashy but quite serviceable. Wouldn't recommend for older or disabled folks, as the bathroom would be a nightmare. (Probably for people bathing small children too.)"

"Our check in was quick and fast. Our bed was supppppeerrr comfy and the room was in good condition. The room was clean and it was quiet. Personally this place could make a big renovation and this place would be a Santa Cruz 1 stay spot. Lots of on site parking. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Thank to the housekeepers I found my a new Taqueria in Santa Cruz best recommendation ever. Thank you housekeeping!!!!!!!!!!! "

"The room was dirty. The small fridge leaked water overnight. The sheets were old and were leaving lint everywhere. The female person at the front desk was very rude. They promise to give us a discount but ended up charging us more."
