Splashed out by booking an apartment for a 1 night stay because of the spa pool that was advertised, however, this was not available for use as it was turned off and cold - quite disappointing because this was the entire reason why we booked this property and we could have saved $120 ish by staying at one of the more central hotels in town. The room itself was quite nice - good facilities. Other things to keep in mind: 1. The cell phone reception is hit and miss and we were unable to find the wifi code so be sure to ask when checking in. 2. The bathroom roof also had some mould due to the lack of ventilation. 3. The reception lady/owner comes across a little rude but she means well.

We really enjoyed our time in this comfortable apartment, which was very well equipped and set in sub-tropical planting to give a wonderfully relaxed and private feel. Paihia was our first stop on a six week tour of NZ and this was the ideal place to unwind for a few days after a long and tiring journey from the UK The site manager, Jan, was friendly and helpful on arrival and throughout provided tips to help us make the most of our stay The location was perfect for us with just a short walk to the supermarket, beach and town. It is also just a short walk to the Waitangi Treaty Grounds. Our visit there to see the Māori cultural experience was a highlight and we went back for a second day (included in the price of the entry ticket). The staff were all super friendly and informative. Would also recommend taking the ferry over to Russell. The area around the ferry landing is pretty and has lots of options for a relaxing lunch overlooking the beach, but I would also suggest taking the 15 mins walk across to Long Beach, which is stunning. Also recommend visiting Otehei Bay on Urupukapuka Island, either as part of a boat trip around the islands or as a direct return ferry trip. I was very sceptical but the visit there was another highlight for us

Above & Beyond!
Spacious apartment in a lovely bush setting with native birdsong and everything you could need. But even greater than this was the care from Jan who well and trully stepped in to help when we had car problems. Above & beyond example of genuine human spirit and goodness. Thank you!

Got what we needed and more. Receptionist was brilliant, informative and friendly. Apartment 2 was clean and had everything and more. Had a family of five with three kids and we absolutely loved it. We'll go back there anytime.

We stayed in Apartment 3. The room was clean and spacious, but could do with some ventilation. There are windows and doors but during the night it was not feasible to have them open as insects would enter the apartment. But there are no other ventilation in the room and despite using the two fans provided, it was still quite stuffy in the room

The apartment was perfect for a family of 5, everything we needed. Location was great, bed was comfortable, shower was excellent! Close to town, beach, supermarket, Waitangi, and easy to get away up north from this side of Paihia. Ideal base for a few days.

My son and I had a lovely little break at Bay of Islands Holiday Apartments. Pleasing décor and really comfy bed. Has everything you need to cook and even clean if you make a mess. Actually really impressed with the cooking equipment. A decent frying pan! Wow! Good precautions given the Covid situations. Lovely friendly staff. I forgot to say something when we checked out but there was broken glassware and the kettle had a melted cord, which was concerning. I'm sure they would have fixed if I had said something. Something to note is that if you have someone next to you in the other apartment, the noise transfer is pretty high or maybe they were loud talkers/stompers. Luckily for us we only had that 1 night out of the 5 we stayed. I'm sure they loved it when we got up at 5am for a fishing trip. We are considerate and tried to be quiet but I didn't like the feeling of tip toeing around. Anyway not a huge issue but if you are looking for a couple seclusion, perhaps think again. I know you can't control the trees, which by the way makes for a lovely setting, although you do get a little noise from the road. My car was covered in sap droplets which took 3 carwashes to remove. Again not a biggie but may save someone from getting overly annoyed if they know this. IT COMES OFF. All round I would gladly stay here again. My son loved it! Bath is a nice touch for kids and even Adults to have an indulgent evening. Overall a really comfy place to stay. Awesome Bed!!!

Very spacious apartment in lovely surroundings. The staff were friendly at check-in / check-out but otherwise left me to do my own thing which was appreciated. Awesome that I could bring my dog with me. Perhaps not as quiet as I had hoped for, with NZ's largest inflatable slide right over the fence, but otherwise a great place to stay!

Very clean and spacious apartment, the bed was very comfortable. The owner was quite informative especially about the parking in Paihia. The holiday park is very quiet at night, however some traffic noise in the day but it does quieten down in the evening.

Clean very, however running on shoe string budget
We arrived,Jan the manager very nice and accommodating…...however we went through 3 fans to find one working, as when we arrived it was very hot. however she did bring one, not good looking but effective. Then the toilet seat came off, seems like the place is run on a shoestring budget, but I must stress very clean don't look under the beds. Next day we wanted to do laundry, machine not working. However, left a note and Jan again offered to put coins in the pay machines where the campers do their laundry...very nice but we had a rest day and that was the day before. This place is shared with a campsite and next door to a kiddie activity park. TG not up and running the days we were visiting. its on the high end of value. But we did enjoy a rest day with good rest and reading. its quiet. Jan swears there are no mosquitos in NZ not true. they leave the doors open, we chose not to.

Comfortable stay for a family
We stayed in aparment #2, 2 storey unit with 3 beds. The unit was clean, homey and had all the equipment to make us feel comfortable and relaxing. No complaints with cleanliness or quality of props either. I'd come back again.

Great stay.
Lovely room with great views and use of balcony. The room had all the amenities that we could need such as a bath and separate shower, air con and kitchen facilities. There was even a hot tub just across the path that we could use, although the temperature could not be altered from 40 degrees. But this wasn't a problem. Location was just outside the main area of town which made for a quieter stay, but that was great for us.

Outstanding Stay
Warmly welcomed. The Apartment has everything you could think of. Particularly impressed with the BBQ and that it was cleaned daily. From the free hot tub to the free washer/drier a brilliant stay. Slightly off the main centre of Pahia but opposite the supermarket.

Great place, great staff, close to shops.
Wow, what fantastic customer service! Gary and Becky were fantastic from checking to checkout. Very welcoming and approachable, great local knowledge, nothing was too much trouble, even got a discount when booking a tour through them. The apartment was spacious and clean, and had everything, even down to oil and Alfoil for cooking. It was like someone handed me the keys to their own place. The grounds were well kept. Gary and the team are great and I would thoroughly recommend this venue to anyone.

Fabulous hosts coupled with a great apartment that was home away from home. Excellent facilities - we needed for nothing. Loved that the kids were downstairs in their own space. Huge bathroom. Modern decor. Spa was a hit too.

We had 4 adults and 1 kids stay, after 2 adults had shower, we don't have hot water for shower, it was cold and not comfortable at all, a bit disappointed.

Sorry you had issues with the Shower; they water is solar heated and whilst it is a large tank for both apartments; if it is heavily used and its not sunny, it takes a little time for the electricity to recover the temperature. We hope you enjoyed the rest of your stay

The matress is too soft, the downstairs bedding sheet was dirty, even had the dirty marks on it, I put my kids stay there, a bit disappointed!

We agree its not acceptable for a sheet to be dirty, we use a commercial laundry service who are normally very good; but we should have spotted a dirty sheet when we made the bed up. Please accept our apologies. We can change the sheet easily if you ask us while you are here

Paradise nestled in native bush.
This is a real find! Luxuirious new spacious hideaway with all mod cons and total peace and quiet yet within minutes walking distance to town. The unit is thoughtfully planned with all needs covered. Even a spa set in bush surround only metres from the door. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the grounds planted out to attract bird life and give privacy.Close enough to walk to Waitangi, Ferry Wharf and a supermarket is two minutes away. All Staff were so helpful , happy and friendly.

We came up for a wedding and found the accommodation exceeded our expectations.The proximity to all locations was central and the environment very pleasing.the apartment itself was very roomy and the bathroom very spacious.The bed was very comfy and we had no trouble sleeping there. Our stay was amazing, having the 2 rooms on different levels was great. The apartment had all the amenities you could want, and it meant that after going fishing we could cook up the fish at home!! Great location, nice & quiet - perfect for families or people in small groups.

Superb , exceeded expectations.
Fantastic stay. Our apartment had everything we could possiblely needed , large and very comfortable. It also had some great small touches that showed these owners really care about these apartments. Beautiful surroundings and an amazing hot tub in the bush. Highly recommended.

Value and location
Great location a short walk to local amenities, restaurants, wharf etc and very close to large supermarket. Management were very helpful provided maps, information and also offereing to call and book tours for us. Highly recommended

Fabulous accommodation
What a surprise. These awesome apartments are situated in the caravan, mobile home park in Paihia. There are only 5 apartments, 4 of which have elevated views. They are very spacious and have everything that you need; kitchenette, separate bath and shower, bbq, TV, sound dock etc etc. There is also laundry facilities near the main office. We stayed in apartment 3 - it was very quiet, only the relaxing sound of birds in the morning. The apartments blend into the beautiful gardens seamlessly. This helps to create a very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. We were immediately transformed into holiday mode from the time we unpacked. A shopping centre is located approximately 100m from the entrance of the park across the road. Here you can stock up on everything you need (including alcohol). We were only a 2 minute drive to the amazing Waitangi Treaty grounds (a must do) and 2 minutes drive to restaurants and the marina. Ferries to Russell and Bay of Island cruises depart from the marina. If you don't mind walking you can reach each of these venues in approximately 15 to 20 minutes. The management staff at our accommodation were outstanding from the time we arrived up to and including check-out. Our only disappointment was that we had to leave. If we come back to the Bay of Islands we would not even consider anywhere else to stay.
