"This was a great place to stay. Very nice and well-maintained, with great employees. The rooms could use updating as the couch and furniture are old. Very clean and great view from the balcony. Lighting in the room needs to be improved and bathroom lighting is terrible. You can't do makeup or anything in bathroom it's very dark. Transportation is great can get a tuk-tuk outside the door and very reasonable. It's a very pretty resort and I can't say enough about the people who work there. So nice and polite it's a joy to be around all of them. Food and drinks are great and reasonable, especially during happy hour daily. The balcony is large and very nice. We Love Coron it's the best ocean I have ever been in and I have been to so many tropical places in my life. The tours are amazing, we did 4 of them and all were so wonderful. Most beautiful Coral I have ever seen and the islands and beaches are the best. Limestone mountains with bushes growning out of them to the caves you can visit and swim in. Snorkling is amazing on the tours. The food on the tours they cook in the boat and take you to an island to enjoy. Huge spread and so delicious. Loved this vacation. Stayed 8 days total and it was wonderful. Thanks to the Two seasons resort and the wonderful people there. Thanks to the multiple tour companies we used will come back to the Philippine islands again. Would love to post pictures but don't see where I can on this link. "

"Staff are extremely friendly and make us feel like home. Happy day is very good deal for person enjoy drinking. Bartenders are beyond expectation. However, the resort is under construction for new villas, which is noisy in the morning. "

"I chose this hotel because of its location on Lio Beach and good balance between being in quiet place but not too far from El Nido town (20 minutes and 300 pisos by Tuk Tuk). It's very close to the airport, where you will be met by someone from the hotel and then it's a very short ride in their golf buggy type shuttle to the hotel. The rooms are lovely and very spacious. We had one overlooking what should have been the pool area but that was under contstruction. I am still giving it 5 stars but we were only informed about this after we had made the booking. There is a pool at another hotel 5 minutes away but you have to reserve it and it looks quite small. The beach is stunning, with a great view of all the islands. SUP, kayak etc are all free. My only complaint here is that the life guards are the most overcautious and restrictive I have ever encountered. It was rainy season and even then, the sea was not rough and I didn't encounter any currents. However, you are told only to swim in between the hours of 6am and 6pm, very close to the hotel. I am a strong and experienced swimmer, but I don't take risks. I'd like to be able to judge myself and swim at my own risk. Aside from that minor moan, it's a lovely hotel and was very reasonable because of rainy season. "

We also appreciated the convenient shuttle service to town and Lio Beach, which made exploring easy while still being able to return to the quiet comfort of the resort. This was one of the best resort experiences we’ve had in the Philippines. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway in El Nido with top-notch service, modern facilities, and a tranquil atmosphere, Charlie’s is the place to be. Highly recommended!"
