"The breakfast buffet is in a different building. It’s a short walk, however it was raining hard the day we stayed. We could not drive in our car because of how the traffic is directed. The hotel provided umbrellas, which was nice. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. This hotel is located right by the highway and a semi truck parking lot. Nothing wrong with that when passing by and need to rest."

It would be useful for the hotel to provide instructions on the lighting as the system was not very intuitive. The safe did not work - a small inconvenience. "

"The rooms are very dated. Bathroom very tiny and uncomfortable. No room service 24h also NO AC there was a thermostat but definitely not working we had a suite and one room and it didn’t work anywhere. But staff very friendly and helpful."

"Everything about this place is amazing! The huge room with beautiful views over the lake, the spotless bathroom with luxurious toiletries and plenty of towels and the wonderfully comfortable bed. Also, your breakfast was served every morning on your terrace which was the best way to start the day. Add to that the staff were all so polite but also kind, friendly and welcoming. They couldn’t do enough for you. We also used the private spa which was a treat and so relaxing. I cannot recommend this...

"Das Hotel ist sehr schön gelegen, oberhalb der Stadt Locarno, an einem Hang mit toller Aussicht. Besonders positiv ist, dass man das Stadtzentrum in etwa fünf Minuten zu Fuss erreichen kann, was sehr praktisch ist. Auch der Spabereich sowie die Gartencafés sind sehr hübsch. Einzig ein kleines Gym. Einziger wirklicher Minuspunkt ist jedoch der Rückweg: Vom Zentrum zurück ins Hotel muss man einen ziemlich steilen Aufstieg in Kauf nehmen, was je nach Kondition etwas anstrengend sein kann....

"Property was perfect for us. We stayed in room 50 with an awe inspiring view. That was the most important feature for us. Our room was spacious and clean. With a large bed, two twin beds pushed together, very supportive and comfortable. Hotel Muralto is an older property that has been well cared for and updated. Staff are very kind, helpful and attentive. We stayed in Locarno for 2 weeks and found that Hotel Muralto to be the right balance of comfort and functionality at a very good price. The...
