"The Venart is a special place among many special places in Venice. An old Palace directly on the Grand Canal in the San Polo neighborhood -- the quiet side of Venice. The concierge team is outstanding and the public spaces of the hotel are grand. Given the 2-start GLAM restaurant size limitations, food options at the hotel are quite limited. This can be a problem if you don't feel like heading out for dinner -- or even breakfast. Otherwise, it's a lovely place."

Alessandra was very accommodating, she let us use the room an extra hour before we left as I had to go to the police station to report the theft of my wallet. Please be careful on Rialto Bridge, there are pickpockets. "
