"We loved our stay at Casa Alessandrini. It was clean, the air conditioning was fabulous on an 95’F day, and it is located right next to a cute cafe which was convenient in the morning! It is so close to il Quadrilatero which has allllll the great places to eat! Walk to Piazza Maggiore was not far at all. I suggest you take any advice from the person checking you in, including the suggestion of booking a taxi the night before you need it! Learn from our mistake! It’s a great place to stay in...

"The apartment was perfect for our first night in Bologna. Checking in in the late evening wasn't a problem, and our host was super responsive to text. We never met anyone in person, but it was fine because we received quick and detailed responses to any questions we had. "The hotel is in a great location close to shops and restaurants. It was clean and a highlight was the free breakfast they provide. We booked a suite, which we found out was not in the main building but a block away. It's a 3 story walk up (no elevators). The reason for the 3 star review is Lorenzo, the desk clerk. He was rude, unhelpful and dismissive when presented with issues. Because of his rudeness I cannot recommend this hotel to any travelers."
