Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
They go for luxury but fail on the basics. The wow factor double jet bath drained very slowly subsequently leaving a layer of scum at the bottom of the tub. Watching said crud squirt from the jets on first activation was a very unpleasant experience.
Worse was the fact the door to the room did not lock meaning anyone who could access the hotel could walk in. The obvious fear being theft of valuables while out. However, there was the added fear of someone walking in and immedialty seeing you trying to relax in the large bath in front of the door.
There was also no soft lighting making the potential for creating the desired ambience rather difficult.
Sound proofing was another issue we thiught the windows must be open but it transpired they simply offered no noise dampening. Not to worry though as the fridge containg the very welcome bottle of presecco was so lound that if you left it on you still woudlnt be able to sleep.
Finally, the WiFi didnt reach our room. I mentioned to the host who said it was the fault of the supplier bit given it worked perfectly in the lobby we then relaised he had simply lied to us. There are two huge TVs in the room one isnt smart and as the other cant connect to the internet due to said issues they were both rendered useless in the age of streaming.
