"Cool style and a fun hotel, in theory. There was a DJ on Saturday, all day and into the early morning. It was way too loud. It started up again on Sunday at noon when everyone’s vibes at the pool were chill. It was a total mismatch. DJ did not read the room. I’m not a stuffy person and I understood what I signed up for, but the volume was absurd. The rental bikes were in poor (arguably dangerous) condition. The staff were very hit or miss. They’ll also try to sneak a smoking fee on your receipt and will say the smoke detectors are just super sensitive. Also, a guy I chatted with had his watch stolen by housekeeping. It had a gps on it and the front desk refused to look into it. Not what I’d expect from a $400+ per night hotel."
