"I would not consider this place to be a hotel. It is a motel in a residential neighbourhood that was recently renovated. The rooms are small, but functional and clean. The staff is friendly. There is no security to get into the property and all rooms can be accessed easily directly from the outside. The "buffet" breakfast is rather limited and served on paper plates and paper cups. For more than US$ 600.00 a night plus taxes and $10.00 per night for parking, this place is far from what one...

"There is a major issue with parking. This is handled by another entity. I was staying overnight from Sunday evening around 5:30pm to Monday morning at 8:00am. I was charged for two days ($48 plus tax). The information about parking suggested "overnight" would be treated as one day ($24 plus tax). This is not only overpricing, it's misrepresentation. [As I say, this is an external provider the hotel outsources to. The hotel itself was fine.]"

"Architecture is dated, but the property is clean and modern. Pool, bar, and fitness center are all nice. Rooms may have been considered spacious in the 1950s, but they are average sized today. Towels were thin. Air conditioning couldn't handle outdoor temperatures in the 80s and sunny. Engineering couldn't do anything to fix it other than give us a fan. Staff were friendly. The only way they get away with charging these rates is location and timing."

"Very nice staff it was close to Stanford Medical Center however the room had been upgraded and did not have hooks to hang your towels and some of the light fixtures did not work. The room was clean."

"Our sheets were dirty when we pulled down the bed. There were two hairs and crumbs on the sheet. When I told the front desk clerk the next day before checking out, he said he would ask the housekeepers if they changed the sheets and get back to me. I thought that was a crazy response, and of course I never heard from them!"

"The hotel is dated and shows signs of work needing to be completed (painting). The room was clean, but furnishings show lots of wear. Check-in is done with a kiosk in the small lobby. Did see someone in the lobby when getting more coffee from a drawer in the lobby. Very different experience from other travel experiences. The hotel is located an easy drive to Stanford Hospital."
