"Room was lovely, clean, spacious and modern with a beautiful view of the garden. The food was delicious both dinner and breakfast. The buffet breakfast was the best I've had. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Nice spa area with good showers in the changing room. Very happy, would stay again."

The evening meal was okay but my husband’s dish tasted quite bland, considering the prices - we expected slightly better quality. We really enjoyed the history and novelty of the hotel. "Cooked breakfast good, continental breakfast limited choice. Service a bit slow. Room excellent, coffee machine a bonus, biscuits, coffee etc always replenished each day. Parking plentiful location good, very easy to travel to other locations in the county. "

"We had a brilliant overnight stay in this old pub in this tiny cove. The staff are really lovely and the food was excellent. Very comfortable bed and a nice clean fresh bathroom. Breakfast was large and tasty. There's a bit of plumbing noise but you can expect that in old buildings."
