"Booked our stay at the Royal Victoria Hotel for the purpose of hiking up Snowden. This was a great choice as the hotels location was ideal, being a few hundred yards from the start of the Llanberis path. The hotel itself was very clean, staff super friendly, and the room met our needs. "Room had no carpeting only cushion floor in black & white pattern which was well worn. Furnishing was uninspiring and well used. Not the most comfortable of beds. Unfortunately in the yard outside of our room was some type of generator which was noisy and was switching on and off overnight. Parking was very limited. Overall very basic. Gentleman who greeted us was very pleasant and welcoming and nice courtesy tray in room."

"The property was clean and the room had nice sea views. The rooms are in a converted house next to the Indian restaurant at the site. They are as mentioned in the description accessed via stairs .. quite a few although was offered help with bags. The main negative factor is the location. We arrived and witnessed an altercation on the street in the mid-afternoon with a women punched in the face. The police attended. We looked for other food options but only fish and chips available nearby....
