"When our reservations at another hotel in Rome city center were cancelled by the hotel management, we immediately reserved at Hotel Villa Pamphili Roma. Boy, did we luck out. Hotel Villa Pamphili is a wonderful resort with a big swimming pool, tennis court, lots of lounge chairs, beautiful grounds, spa, gym and an elegant rooftop bar and restaurant. The modern bedrooms had luxurious beds and linens. The hearty breakfast buffet offered a large selection, including vegan options. If you decide to take a rest day from sight seeing, there’s plenty to do in the resort. The only drawback is that it is about 3 miles from the city center, so be prepared to take a taxi. For all the amenities provided, we were happy to pay for the taxi to the city center. The hotel even provided boxed breakfast because had an early flight back home. What a nice service."
