"Great communication from the start with details of which route to go and where to park. Comfy bed. Great attention to detail including breakfast bag, tea and coffee making facilities, mini fridge, tissues, toiletries, fan etc. Great stay en-route to Cornwall"

"Shame the restaurant was closed but the pizza filled a hole. Room excellent, staff welcoming and polite and a well stocked bar. "

"Lovely setting. The scenery out our window was superb! We were there on a couple of the hottest days of the summer, and even though there is no air conditioning, our room had a big circulating fan which helped immensely. We liked the quiet, low-key atmosphere of the place. Very restful!"

"Disappointing stay raised with the manager but no meaningful resolution. The staff were friendly and the room had some positives, including clean linen, a good-sized TV and convenient parking, but unfortunately the overall experience was very poor. The hotel felt in need of a thorough clean and better maintenance. There was thick dust on ledges and surfaces, smeared glass, sticky breakfast tables, dusty artificial plants and noticeable limescale in the bathroom. The extractor fan did not work,...
