Hotel dekat Parliament Hill

"We loved this place. The only negative is we found there was not enough kitchen utensils for example a spatula. Maybe a couple of pots and some oven mitts. A lid for the frying pan. We stayed for 4 days and really wanted to use the kitchen more but was not equipped for cooking. Very basic items. Also it would of been nice to have a couple of throw blankets for the sofa. When ac is on it gets chilly for the evening. Location is amazing and the unit was perfect."

"We stay quite often at this property. The rooms need a refresh, flooring, bedding. Sofa bed was awful for my adult daughter. The king bed is too soft. The staff are great, front desk and housekeeping. The breakfast buffet food was not that great. It was good before. I would say about a year ago. The hot food was lacking flavour, runny eggs, microwaved turkey sausage, pulled pork, chorizo both awful. sweet potato hash browns were overcooked, burnt inedible , the pork sausage was good only. "Excellent service. Excellent staff. The AC did not work on the room. Staff were informed and we were told it would be inspected. It never worked properly after it was reported, staff never followed up on it. Great little glass water bottle waiting on your arrival in the room. Unfortunately it is too large to refill in the sink. Great location. Be aware if you have accessibility needs, that area of Ottawa has some of the worst sidewalks I have ever experienced. "Sheraton should be ashamed to have this as one of its properties. Staff is fine and as expected. Old building and mediocre rooms. Stay elsewhere for the money. Or stay to observe the smallest king bed you’ve seen. Parking is awful, breakfast is a disaster, terrible room lighting, huge gap at the bottom of room door, and it’s old - even feels a little dingy. This is a 2 star hotel. Would never stay at this location again and much less likely to stay at a Sheraton ever again in general,...

"Great location and the room was clean and well-maintained. We booked a city view room on a high floor, but it faced the construction side of the building and we were woken up early every morning by the noise. We stayed three nights and asked the front desk about switching to a room facing Parliament Hill, but were told nothing was available. My suggestion to the hotel: rooms affected by construction noise shouldn't be sold at full city view rates. It's not good value, and frankly, it's not fair...
