"This Motel really exceeded our expectations. It is a super cute property and the room was adorably decorated. I loved hanging out in the hammock first thing in the morning when it was still cool outside, and by the fire pit in the evening when the temperatures dropped as well. The pool area was amazing - no shortage of very comfortable seating with access to the bar and restaurant - so nice that it is restricted to 21 and older! The morning coffee and croissants were such a nice touch! All staff members we came into contact with were very friendly, with the exception of the person working in the office. She was not rude, but not overly friendly and preoccupied with her laptop during our stops into the office, and absent altogether for about 5 minutes when we checked in.
The only suggestion I would have would be to open the pool area maybe an hour earlier for those who like to use the hot tub when it is still pretty cool outside. Other than that, the hours of 9A-10P were very generous, with the bar/restaurant open noon to 9P.
All said I still give this place 5 stars because the grounds and accommodations are amazing. We would absolutely stay again, and probably will!!"
