Some customers cannot add $ 15 or $ 20 per night (50% of our rate for 1 night at this time of the year). When people vote for a rate, which is "wrong and misleading"? The 10% who are not fully satisfied, or the 90% who are satisfied? ... Your opinion is therefore your point of view, and no more. Second subject: you complain about the distance from the beach, but read that ... You have said and claimed that you are a "Gold level" on hotels in the world, and you cannot read a map and use the distances in Google map? There is nothing wrong with the distance, because you chose it by yourself. Your estimate of the time to reach the beach is overestimated (20 to 25 minutes that you claim) ... but it is written 13 minutes in Google Map. And everyone will believe Google Map more than your estimate. When my guests ask me how far it is from the beach, I answer a 15-minute walk. I add information. The current period is really special and different from each year. Most part of hotels lose a lot of money and offer really cheap rates to catch what they can before they go bankrupt. Either way, hotels near the beach will be more expensive than us, and no guarantee as to the level of service they could provide. Thank you for your review. Regarding your positive points, we thank you to mention them, it is always good to see someone who can identify them. However, regarding the negative points you have mentioned, I will answer them in the order. Regarding the staff, it is one of the most appreciated points in our hotel. As you can understand, it really surprised me a lot that you have a complaint about it. Indeed you can see in every different websites that the staff has always a really good notation in our property, because our team do everything possible to make your stay a really perfect one with us, that includes a good service and always willing to help our guest in every situation possible. If you did not feel welcome, it might be personal and only from your point of view, because you just need to compare your words to the other review to understand that there is something not normal. Regarding the towels, yes there is indeed two big towels and two small towels by room that we replace one time by day after a cleaning of the room. It is entirely enough and we never have a complaint about the number of it since the opening of the hotel. In every 3 stars hotel in Patong that you will go, you will always have the same number of towels (Or less) that we propose in our hotel. The hotel that propose more is the 4 or 5 stars hotel that give you about 4 towels or more by room (But is it really useful ? I think it only depends of the guest). Finally about the ants, it can happen any place you go, but as soon as we see them, we always remove them of course. Our breakfast would not be appreciated at all if we did not care about this issue, but we care, and that is why a lot of our guests love our breakfast, adding to the fact that there is a lot of choices and that the food is delicious. Despite the experience you had (Which I think you still enjoyed your stay with us) you are obviously welcome again in our hotel if you comeback to Patong for your next holidays. Dear Jehan and Ivan (room 502), You write anonymous review but we know who you are. The first thing that I have to tell you is : you didn't complain for the 4 days that you stayed with us. You seems to forget that you have been very happy for your stay. But... you forgot also why you put a bad review... You did some few mistakes at the hotel that we have noticed for you. 1 - You have stolen a lot of fruits and put in a plastic bag for your next meals (we have a marvelous video of you both, and probably you should smile a little more to be perfect for your next movie of theft). 2 - You stained by yourself the bedsheet and the tiles with nail polish that we can not remove (we have pictures) 3 - You tried to scam the taxi about the price about the distance that you had to do (we are not the taxi ! We are the hotel and we don't control the taxies in Phuket). The taxi told you a price for a distance that you told him, and your way was really farther than your request, that's why he asked a price more high. No mystery about that. 4 - You did not like Patong, that's the way you chose to express your anger against Patong. Thank you for us! So, you have expected a revenge, and your review helped you... in anonymous :-) You are fantastic ! After that, all your complains are just a bundle of lies. Dear Troy, I think you are purely and simply wrong about the type of hotel that you wanted to go. You maybe thought we were a luxurious hotel while we are a family 3 stars hotel. Indeed you went after to the Laguna Resort (5 stars hotel) which is of course not the same type of hotel and neither the same rates at all (Our rates should have alarmed you + you book the most cheapest room of our hotel). Banging doors can happen in any hotels, this is something really common in every hotels of the world but it was just a few seconds in the early evening because of a group. Regarding the MacBook you could have give it to the reception if you went outside, many of our guests do that and obviously we never have any problem. A small advice for your next time : Check the details and descriptions as well as the reviews so you can be sure about what hotel you have booked to. All you wrote in your review does not deserve a 1/5 at all, we can clearly understand you were wrong about the type of hotel you booked. Anyway, we still hope you enjoy your holidays in Phuket.
