"Hotel was nice and rustic which gave it its charm. Reminded me of a European hotel, which I guess is why it’s named after the ski resort in Switzerland. My only criticism was that our door lock malfunctioned when we tried to get out of the room on Saturday morning which wasn’t good. Eventually it was fixed and working properly when we got back. But that’s the only reason I didn’t give it a 5/5."

"This is the 3rd time we have enjoyed staying at High Peaks in a waterfront room. The property is well maintained, clean and the staff friendly! The location is ideal-direct access to the lake & activities if you'd like - and only a short walking distance to restaurants/shops, etc. Unfortunately, we were positioned next to a very loud group of young adults who were up all night, but tried our best to tune them out with our noise machine. The shower also leaked all over the floor no matter how well we closed it - we ended up placing towels on the floor."

"We were happy with our stay . The pool was warm. The room was nice, and a nice size. The beds were too hard for my liking, but there were 4 pillows, so I laid on those. Much better! The continental breakfast had a decent amount of choices. The keurig coffee outside the room we ate in had good coffee. The guy working the desk was very accommodating. I would not hesitate to stay there again."

"Hotel is walkable to Main St so it was easy to go and explore the stores. Our room was on the 3rd floor room so can see a view of Mirror Lake which is nice. Room is clean and had a nice bathroom. There was no iron/ironing board but that is just a “nice to have”. Friendly staff. Continental breakfast provided so no hot meals. There was also a catholic church nearby which we were able to attend mass. Overall, I will recommend this hotel. However, giving only 4 stars because the breakfast was mediocre."
