"Staff were great, the room was lovely and clean and comfortable. Very quiet. No road noise. The breakfast (£10) was very good - recommend that if you’re staying here. Very small town wirh not a lot to do or see here, but we were only passing through and just needs a place to sleep for the night. This was perfect for that. Only downside was that the night we stayed, they had no staff available to open their in-house restaurant, and the other pub in town was also closed for meals so we ended up with Chinese takeaways in our room for dinner…"

"My biggest frustration was being completely unaware that this was an unmanned facility and that we were to receive an email with access instructions within 24 hours of arrival - having spent the whole day in meetings then a drive to the guesthouse (arriving about 9pm) I was not aware of any of this. No answer on the contact phone number displayed at the venue to call in case of any issue. It all added stress I did not need. Why not communicate this information at the time of booking?"
