"Bed so cozy…..beautiful windows with old wavy glass. Right on a Main Street. Antique shops and restaurants walking distance. Can see the lake from the front yard a block away. I have stayed with these awesome people many times and will do so many more times. Lovely huge front porch under the oak trees with porch swings and sofas….. I’m an introvert……..peace and quiet in my room….if I feel social I just step outside and take a walk to the lake and watch the sun set from a bench under the oak...

"I didn't like the fact they wouldn't change my room after promising a 1st floor room. I also didn't like the uncomfortable beds that made cracking noise when you moved and they wouldn't give us another room. I also disliked gnats with breakfast and skunk smell in the hall at night. We were trapped because they wouldn't refund our stay so we were there for One Lousy Week. Don't stay here."

"Waking distance to everything in the historical district. Staff was very friendly and professional. Rooms were clean and comfortable."

"Property is in serious need of remodel. Main lobby area was ok but our room was run down with cracks in ceiling and stained toilet. My sister was next door and her room never got serviced and there was smoked joint on her patio. Unacceptable. Thankfully we were on the first floor because they had sign posted that elevator was not working. Some in our party had ac issues on the higher floors. Two medium coffees will cost you $10. Front desk staff was rude. Will never stay here again."

"Air conditioning so noisy that it felt like having someone power washing inside the room. Bedding with holes, broken windows. The hair dryer wasn’t working, no choice at breakfast"

"The outside looks great and I assume had a fairly recent renovation. Thats where the positives end. When looking for a hotel, I want 3 main things - easy access, a clean room/fresh linens, and ample towels. 1. The elevator was broken. Not a huge deal until the second elevator also started to act up. At first the remote/tv in the bedroom would not work. Eventually figured out it was unplugged. Total waste of time because then the streaming continued to buffer/didn't work so the tv was pointless....
