"The housekeeping staff are super kind, but they are the only staff you'll see if you happen to be there when they are. Owners did not respond to messages when I inquired about alternates for micro fiber sheets (hot and scratchy for me). Neighboring rooms were loud during sleeping hours (quiet time guidelines would be helpful). Overall, great house and location. Loved being in this lovely town and walking to great shopping and eats. Super friendly locals too! "

"Great for Walkers. We paid a lot more than we usually do for a hotel, so our expectations were high as well. The location was perfect. The staff, decor and cleanliness made our stay enjoyable. We were surprised that we had to go through the underground parking lot or take a very circuitous route around the property to get from our room to the lobby, fitness center and restaurant. While the loft is airy and attractive, be prepared to go up and down a large staircase from the bed to the bathroom. "

"If you enjoy a relaxing atmosphere this a great place to stay. The rooms are good size and have gas fireplaces. It's located a short distance from numerous restaurants and has a number of areas for walking up on the bluff above the ocean. The staff at this boutique B&B are so nice it makes you want to come back. We've stayed at the Seal Cove Inn numerous times and any time we travel to Half Moon Bay this is our destination. We highly recommend this establishment."

"Virtually no ocean view except from the front lobby, and that was obstructed. Sits right on a very busy highway. Very limited parking in the front with difficult in/out access. Staff communication, limited and uninformed. Lots of stairs to navigate even getting in the lobby and all rooms. Nearby properties are less than desirable environment. Spacious, clean room, but amenities more of a motel category. A number of lightbulbs out in the room, bed frame broken and pops loudly, and very large...

"Breakfast was above and beyond the normal selections. We stayed 2 days and there were new offerings on both days. The Swiss and spinach quiche was so good. The next day it was a jalapeño and cheddar quiche muffin. The normal suspects were there. Scrambled eggs, sausage, mini waffles. You could customize oatmeal to your liking."
