"Room was good and very clean had a issue with the window that wouldn't close correctly so had some road noise. Staff were bringing and couldn't do enough for you and made you feel very welcome food was brilliant and well cooked "

Staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good . Good value for money. If you want a place to stay for a quick stop over and easy access for places to see in Cornwall then it’s great."

"Property okay- adequate for a short stay. In need of a bit of TLC. Room clean and spacious enough. Tea/coffee and small fridge. Swimming pool onsite which we used a lot due to heat! Also in need of TLC but large enough to cool off and enjoy. Fan only in room. No air conditioning. Staff friendly and helpful. "The cobblestone parking was slightly challenging, and we weren’t expecting to be in a separate building from the inn, but the room was very comfortable and the large window had a great view which brightened up the space. The location was perfect, and the staff was pleasant and helpful. We appreciated that breakfast was included."

"We are a family of 4 (kids 8 and 11) staying in a room set up as a family room - double bed and the kids sharing a sofa bed. The room was snug but really good. Each room is 3 old cells knocked into 1, with the bathroom taking up 1/3 or of the room. The bathroom was really good and enormous. The staff at the hotel were super friendly and helpful. "This hotel is always my go to when staying in the area. It's in a beautiful location, quiet and well placed to travel to the areas I need to go. The rooms are great no matter what ones you get. Facilities are fantastic, and as I understand it the golf courses superb, I certainly enjoy running around them early in the morning before the balls start flying."

"We had a lovely stay there with our family. The cottage we stayed in had all amenities and plenty of space. The cottage didn’t have AC but there was a fan and the staff was accommodating when we asked for a second one. The pool and facilities were well maintained and clean. The restaurant was okay for something on site. Beautiful location by the river. Friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed our stay."

"If a town has a Moxy then that's where I will stay. They are so cool and like all of them, this one has a lovely big bar and seating area in the foyer. The rooms are great and everything works. And the staff all seem to love their work and are helpful and friendly. Top class."

"Beautiful old world building with lovely rooms, bar the bathroom being upstairs. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was good especially the breakfast. Very disappointed that they had a special curry and pint offer where you couldn't have and alternative drink and when we ordered the curry anyway we were charged £20 without the beer wheras it was £15 with the beer!"
