"Beautiful hotel, wonderful room with incredible view. They let us check in early as the room was available and held onto our bags the next day so we could explore Sintra more. They gave recommendations as to how to best walk to the Moorish castle. Breakfast was delicious and very generous. Thank you!!"

"Food was great and the staff was excellent. Roads and restrictions made it a bit difficult to reach. They could use comfortable reading chairs in the rooms; the seating was not designed for any extended seating. No exercise facilities."

"A little confused upon arrival…. Difficult to determine how to access the property. However, provided you follow the instructions provided, someone will open the gate. Parking was secure (and plentiful). We were able to leave our bags early in the morning and went back later to check in…. They even took our bags to our room. Property is perfectly situated… short walk to restaurants, train station and attractions. Staff were amazing, and breakfast was phenomenal."

The attention to detail is very clearly shown by the interesting decor. Douglas laid out a great itinerary for us that included some sites that the bus tours would never visit. Casa da Estefânea has a great location to explore the Sintra area. We would recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming stay in this...

"We really enjoyed our stay at this charming and historic boutique hotel. The location inside old town was perfect for sightseeing and very quiet at night. The road is closed to most car traffic but access to buses, taxis, or Bolt rides are a short walk away. The room was spacious, decorated with antique pieces, and had an outdoor garden sitting area. Although the bathroom fixtures were a little tight in space, they were fine. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the provided...
