Cari Ryokan di Peñas Blancas

"The staff here is absolutely fantastic! Even though our trip started a bit bumpy, they totally turned it around and made us feel so welcome and at home. Their hospitality was beyond amazing, and they were super accommodating to everything we needed. We're definitely coming back when we're in the La Fortuna area! They even helped us plan activities and surprised my sister for her birthday, which was so sweet! Big shout-out to Alejandro, Jimmy, Carlos, and Victor! Pura Vida !"

"Great quiet Costa Rican-style cabin on a nice, secluded property close to everything."

"This property is brand new and gorgeous. The bungalows are so cute. It was plenty of space for a family of 6, especially bc if we felt cramped we could walk to the bar/restaurant and hang out. The pool was small but my kids enjoyed themselves! The owner, manager and all the staff were amazing - very kind and attentive. The setting is amazing. You’re in the middle of the jungle, gorgeous scenery and plants, and tons of monkeys and toucans in the trees right outside. Definitely recommend!"

"The property and it's grounds were beautiful and the staff was great. Fo us we didn't want to stay in a place that was overwhelmed by tourists and this was great choice."

"Un lugar precioso con un gerente estupendo que te ayuda en lo que puede. Lo recomiendo cien por cien."

"The Retreat is gorgeous. The views of the Volcano and Lake are amazing. The pescatarian menu is perfect for vegetarians and pescatarians. All three meals are served. We did not have meals included but very much enjoyed dinner and breakfast there. The pocket sized gathering places are charming - slider over looking lake, dining room and reception, the separate lounge area with tea and coffee looking into the jungle. The evening walk was fun. The property is on the top of a very steep hill...

"Delicioso desayuno"

"Marianne (zelf ook Nederlands van oorsprong) heeft ons zeer gastvrij verwelkomt. We waren blij verrast met ons verblijf. Behoorlijk ruim, grote bedden, complete keuken, nette badkamer, heerlijke douche! Ligging is prachtig met uitzicht op de Arenal Vulkaan. Marianne heeft ons gezin ook meegenomen om vuurvliegjes te bekijken vlakbij de accommodatie! Dit was echt GEWELDIG! kenden we alleen van tv.. Elke ochtend werd er een ontbijtje gebracht...wat een luxe! Wij voelden ons hier zeer welkom,veilig...

"Muy lindo y limpio"

"Fabulous experience. if you want the wild/lodge experience but still a staffed hotel with a bunch of services then this is for you! We were in the middle of the wilderness, with birds and sloths on site, but still had room service/clean up and buffet style breakfast and a pool! Absolutely recommend. good distance to all the sites/activity but far enough from the tourist trap that is la fortuna!"

"Fantastic stay, clean and comfy. Difficult to find with the Google maps directions given, but owner was very helpful and allowed us a late check in"

"We had a wonderful 3-night stay at Oro Verde! Everything was in excellent condition and the place is very well-maintained. We loved the fact that when we arrived the property had a nice pool that we weren’t expecting, so it was a great surprise! The property is located in a quiet and peaceful area surrounded by nature and at the same time the location is incredibly convenient, just 15-minute drive to La Fortuna. Our experience was great from start to finish!"

"If you were only staying for one or two nights in Chachagua, then this motel might suit you fine, please be highly aware of their nonrefundable policy. I made the mistake of booking this hotel for two weeks so that I had a homebase for my entire stay in Costa Rica. When I realize that I was not very happy staying there, I was unable to cancel or get refunded for my unused nights."

"Clean place. The host was helpful and attentive. I personally would come back...."
