Lovely boutique-style built run hotel. Everything is exactly as described and pictured. We only stayed a night to break a long journey prior to flying out of SJO the following afternoon, but there's plenty to do in the area and it would make a great base if staying a little longer. Very comfortable beds, it was one of our best nights sleep of our trip! We had dinner in Alajuela, about 10 mins drive away with loads of choice, and went back to the town to kill a couple of hours the next day...

We loved our stay at Lomas del Volcán and can't recommend it highly enough. One of the best hotels we've stayed at. We received an extremely friendly welcome and throughout our stay nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Breakfast was amazing, with so many exciting options. The bar offered a great menu (we didn't try the restaurant) and the swim-up bar was a real highlight, especially as it was in a heated pool. So cool, with great cocktails and smoothies. We stayed at Arenal Manoa Resort & Hot Springs in a Chato Suite and overall had a wonderful experience. The setting is beautiful, surrounded by lush greenery with views of Arenal volcano (when the clouds clear). The resort feels peaceful and spacious, which adds to its relaxed atmosphere, and it’s only a 5-minute Uber ride into town, which was inexpensive, safe, and reliable. We had the best time staying at Noahs Forest. The staff were very freindly and helpful and always took the time to check on you. We loved the facilities especially the pool and ping pong tables, as well as the jacuzzi in the room. Everything was very clean and the best possible standard. Thank you for finding the sloths everyday, we'd never of managed without the helpfully positioned telescope and map! We had a wonderful stay at La Fortuna Lodge. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming and the overall vibe was great. We stayed in a room with a view of the volcano and we were able to watch birds directly. The bed and room were comfortable. Centrally located for easy access to shops and restaurants. Amazing stay. Hot springs on site with several different pools to choose from. Add in a jacuzzi, and a bar / restaurant, a spa and a small farm which provides the vegetables, eggs and cheese for the hotel, this place is a prime example of how to do ecotourism. Handily located close to, but not in the bustle of La Fortuna, Arenal, Rio Celeste, the Hanging Bridges and all the adventure pursuits are close by.

Beautiful property. Compact but has everything you need. Located a little outside of La Fortuna but has a litttle supermarket, Ann’s several cafe and restaurants within a 10 min walk. Within easy reach of Tabacon, Arenal and La Fortuna Waterfall via car or uber. Perk of the property is the jacuzzi.

Perfect first night hotel after a long flight. The hotel arranged an airport pick up for us. The room was very comfortable. All the staff were friendly & helpful. Food at the restaurant was great and reasonably priced. Would definitely stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Los Lagos Spa & Resort! From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by beautiful scenery and a lovely, relaxing atmosphere. The highlight for us was definitely the hot springs. They were amazing! There’s something so special about relaxing in the naturally warm thermal waters, surrounded by such beautiful surroundings. We really enjoyed our stay at the Royal Corin! The hotel itself had nice interior and was always clean, with lovely surroundings. The food was great and we really enjoyed the heated pool too. The staff really make the hotel, everyone is so friendly and always willing to help. We’d highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel was fantastic. Spotlessly clean. The free wildlife tour was excellent and we were lucky to see Armadillos. The pool and jacuzzi were lovely too. Would definitely recommend.

This Hotel is a few minutes walk from the centre. Staff are very friendly and helpful, room was soacious and comfortable, and the bird life in the grounds amazing.
