"There were not curtains or black out curtains on the windows. The mirror had emotion detection led lights and as I was trying to switch them off I found a syringe, thankfully without the needle. I'm very disappointed with the overall condition of the room."

"Great room for the price, and loved that they provided some breakfast cereals and coffee. Room was very clean and organized. The bedroom was small but for a single guest is was more than adequate. Would definitely stay here again. "

"On arrival we were greeted and shown to our spotlessly clean room with all the amenities we required truly home from home. From the lovely warm room after a day out in the unfortunately rainy weather I personally always enjoyed a soak in a lovely hot bath. This is our second stay at Highfield House and it was a memorable stay. I would highly recommend the Highfield to anyone who is visiting Skipton give it a try you won’t be disappointed. "Room was amazing and very clean ...the bed was very comfortable the house is amazing and very close to the town center ...very happy indeed "

"Owner was rude before we even got to the property (sent me a video telling me she was fed up of lazy people and came across very aggressive). When we arrived at the property it was in poor condition. There was black mold in the bedrooms, missing paint on the walls which were barely covered by paintings. It said it could sleep 12 people but it barely fit 8 of us. There was a limit on the time we could go into the garden and use the hot tub. Also there was a camera pointed directly at the hottub...

"All were fine and the room was really comfortable. The location was good, just in a walking distance from the station (railway/bus). I was sorry that I didn't read the check-in instruction, but the host was kindly admitting me when I arrived without a prior conversation. I really appreciate. "
