"Great place to stay and super friendly staff!!! Came to check in on the Saturday night just as kitchen was closing, manager immediately offered a quick meal for 3 of us (3 cheeseburgers) for a great price! Rooms were clean and cosy! Perfect place for a night or weekend stay."

"The staff in the bar and at check in were super friendly and helpful. The room was really lovely. Roomy, comfortable, good size tv and large en-suite bathroom. Quiet, warm and lovely biscuits in the room. Best of all the mattress was soooooo comfortable. We had lunch in the bar which was yummy too. Would highly recommend staying and eating at The Tawny Owl. "The welcome was excellent and concise. The room was very clean. Some fixtures were a little loose, the bedside lamp and the toilet flush. The room despite this was very well appointed and the bed was comfortable. The compliment breakfast was very good and varied. "

"It was a lovely stay at this apartment. The unit is spacious, well equipped and clean. You have everything you need which is absolutely wonderful. Very convenient location with just 5-min walk to the nearby shopping centre. Check-in and check-out instructions were clear and efficient. The process was smooth and the communication with their staff was very good. I received prompt replies from them and they were very helpful in terms of following up my inquiries and problems. "Ce n'est pas la faute de l'hôtel. Malheureusement, Swindon n'est ni très jolie ni très sympa à visiter (je fréquente cette ville depuis 35 ans car j'ai de la famille ici). Le centre-ville où se trouve l'hôtel est hélas en chute libre avec beaucoup de magasins fermés depuis 10 ans."

"As soon as I booked in Bridget made me feel right at home.which as a solo traveller I really appreciated. I observed other staff being friendly and welcoming to customers, not in a way that made them sound as though they had to be like that but because they genuinely behaved like that. The room was a good size very clean and the bed was comfortable. The food I had was good too. All in all an excellent experience with a team being led by a lady passionate about giving quality service ...

"Parking was very easy Staff were delightful and helpful The hotel was very quiet with it being out of season so the menu choice in the restaurant was very limited but what we had was good and value for money. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order again because of the limited number of guests. We will definitely return. "
