"Das Hotel liegt mitten im Grünen und bei der Anfahrt über das Grundstück freut man sich schon auf die typisch britische, alte Hausanlage. Im Inneren des Hotels geht der äußere Flair leider etwas verloren, eher so 80er Jahre Style. "Not the usual Marriott standard. Shower was dangerous as the temperature dial didn't work so I nearly scalded myself. Had to tell my kids not to use the shower. I reported it to reception and they refunded my parking charge as compensation but it was quite sufficient considering we couldn't shower properly! The mattresses were also of poor quality. Areas of the hotel were very old and needed updating. However, the rooms were clean and breakfast was decent. "

"Hotel itself is tired and quite run down, needs a large scale renovation. Room was clean but as with wider hotel is very dated. Hotel breakfast was poor. Staff generally friendly and helpful. Easy and free parking was a good benefit. Easy to access location wise. "

"For an overnight stay on a budget, this was fantastic. The bed was comfy, decent pillows and duvet, the sheets and towels were lovely and clean and I really liked the brand of toiletries. The hotel/pub is really big and could do with some updating, but this would needs huge investment, so I'm not surprised at overall condition, but it's functional, clean and tidy.
