"Perfect place to get out of loud cities in Bali and explore a totally different climate and view. I was astonished by the mountains right behind the rooms. Staff were accommodating and helpful. A bit secluded if you got no transport, but I enjoyed the quiet and serenity."

"Quite a quaint group of 3 buildings with 2 motel style rooms in each building, around a courtyard pool. The pool would have to be the best feature of the complex. The rooms are simple, but lack basics like a chair and bedside lamps. Subsequently the very bright LED ceiling light is on, or you are in darkness, because if you leave the curtains open for light during your stay, the entire contents and all your actions are visible to the courtyard, and other guests. "Beautifully located right on the lake with views of Mt Batur and surrounding mountains. Bungalows are simple but clean. Hosts Putu & Kadec we’re wonderful. They made me feel very welcome and were very helpful and generous. I highly recommend staying with them. "

"We never stayed because the map which we followed took us the wrong way . After 2 hours driving we gave up turned around and headed back to Bedugul. Where this accomodation was meant to be 13 k it stated on the web site. But then after we discovered 28 k along very windy roads . And the next day we were told you walk from the road? "

"This was our 4th stay in Sebatu; previously at an adjacent but now closed property. We chose Uma Kelod due to it's location, solid and modern appearance and great value tariff. The room was adequate, clean and well maintained. It had only basic facilities - a jug with basic coffee and tea, a regular TV, adequate AC (but no fans), and a small bar fridge. "magnificent view, not accessible by car/wheelchair visitor. Staff tried their best to answer our question despite non-English speaking."

"This hotel is quite bad - water was leaking from the ceiling, bathroom is horrible, bed not comfortable, the staff slept on a mattress in the middle of the lobby area, a dog was crying all night long. Lucky us we only stay there few hours, before going to an early morning hike to Mt Batur volcano. I'll recommend to stay in another hotel or even in Ubud and waked up 1h earlier."

"This was booked as a private Villa with its own private pool, however we were disturbed by the owner entering the villa without being invited in which was very unnerving, especially when you open your bedroom curtains to find the owner outside your patio doors looking in.
