"Good sized clean room, comfy bed. Breakfast was adequate (not a breakfast person). Only 1 lift working out of 2."

"This place needs bringing up to date, with a refurbish in all areas. The carpets everywhere are horrid. The colours are dreadful and the furniture needs going on the bonfire. In the rooms everything is dreary and the mattresses were shockingly uncomfortable. Bedding was just ok. The breakfast was ok but you had to wait at the door, we sat down eventually and the waitress came over to tell us off as this was an assigned table! Aren’t they lucky! The worse thing in the place is the rickety old lift!! I am weak from cancer and couldn’t walk up to the 4th floor! It was bumpy and shaky and very scary! Go next door to the Sheraton it’s miles better. Warm and comfy and the lift is easy."

"Great hotel. Great staff. Great amenities. Really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was really good. Lots of choice, hot and tasty. The pool area was a bonus. We ate in the restaurant. Food was good. Good atmosphere. Overall a great couple of days away."

"We have stayed at this hotel several times now, we travel a lot for business & this breakfast is by far the best selection we’ve had throughout the UK. From the reception areas, breakfast area & bedrooms, everywhere is spotless, quirky little touches & notice boards, & friendly local staff - which is a breath of fresh air in today’s world! Lots of free parking(just remember to sign in at reception on arrival). Hotel is 5 mins from M6, Junction 23. As for value for money you’ll travel far to find a hotel like this!"
