"We stayed for one night after travelling to Penzance from Norwich ready to catch the Scillonian boat to the Scilly Isles. We arrived at the end of the current heat wave so our twin room (Room #1) which overlooked the street was boiling hot and the window could only be opened a couple of inches for safety reasons. Otherwise it was fine, although the shower room was rather cramped. The staff were friendly and helpful, even bothering to ring us to tell us they had found my husband's cap which he'd left in our room by mistake, and the breakfast (buffet style) was very good. The hotel is very close to the train station and only a short walk to the ferry terminal, so this is a good place to stay if travelling by rail. It is also near a public car park so a very convenient place to stay and not too expensive."

"I've stayed here 5 times now so I must like it. Great hotel in a really good location 5 mins walk from the station. Very clean throughout a perfect place to relax. Hopefully I'll go back again when I can. First class I really can't fault it at all."
