"Missing blinds on the window coverings. Hole in the bedroom door. Room did not appear to have been cleaned well. Front desk could not find our reservation and when he did told us our room was on the second floor inside. Had to return to the front desk to find out it was outside on the first floor. Paid for a room with two beds. Received a room with one queen bed. Entire property needs a face lift. Expect more for $350 per night."

"This hotel is newly renovated and is possibly the nicest hotel in Juneau. The new owners put a lot into this. Rooms are spacious. All counters, desks headboard were handmade with locally sources lumber. Beds are comfy. Nice little kitchenette in each room. I would definitely stay here again and you should too."

"The downtown location is excellent, the building and my room were decorated with antique furniture of the era, my bed was comfortable, and the linens were good quality. The lower 12" of the room were not so good, with chipped paint, old carpet, and sharp edging on the carpet by the sink. Plumbing worked well. "This property is on the outskirts of downtown but is still within walking distance to everything. The breakfast in the diner was excellent and teh view of the harbour from teh diner was very pretty. The room in the bottom floor had a distinct foot odor smell."

"From check in to checkout our experience there was phenomenal. They were super receptive on the phone to answer questions about their shuttle service. We even had to do a very early morning shuttle at 3 AM for our flight and they accommodated that early time AND included offering us homemade breakfast burritos to take with us because we would be missing the continental breakfast. "Stayed 2 nights. Checked in late afternoon and didn't realize until the next day ac unit wasn't blowing cold air. Phone on nightstand wasn't connected to wall outlet. There was no wall outlet available due to remodel contractor deleting it! Second night was very warm and maintenance supervisor went to Costco and bought 2 fans. Requested a different room but they were overbooked."

"We stayed at Aspen Suites the night before our flight home. The hotel is located about a 5 min drive from the airport (or about 10 min walk if you can’t find a cab). Excellent staff, easy check-in. "Room smelled heavily of urine. Couldn’t switch my room, they were fully booked. The two nearest hotels were fully booked as well, it was 11:30pm so I didn’t bother trying to book downtown. It really sucked paying over $300 to sleep in a room that smelled like that. The guy at the front desk was helpful though, he let me bring a bottle of Lysol back to the room to spray it down a few times before bed. "While the room was spacious, the carpet was stained and old. There was no air conditioning and the windows were open but the room was musty. There was no soap in the bathroom. The shuttle from the airport was helpful."
