Restaurant was amazing, but other than that awful rooms, pictures do not match the rooms, low water pressure, clogged drains, dirty toilet.

For the price it’s pretty great. Don’t expect much but it was by far the best deal we got in Scotland!! 20 minutes by walk to go downtown which is nice! To, make us pay for the parking is not cool.

Room was very outdated. Walls and carpet dirty. Shower didn't work either freezing or burning. TV broken and wires out. Door broken and had to be slammed to shut. Not able to book breakfast. No spare pillows. No heating. Very noisy.

Staff were very nice, obviously updating the place as well, Bar & Restaurant was superb. Room could do with some updating, but very comfortable and had everything we needed. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Plenty free parking as well.

My full experience of the Lovat Hotel and the wonderful staff made me and my partners stay so much more enjoyable. So much so we have booked a three day stay at the beginning of August. The staff were super friendly and went out of there way to make our stay that little bit more special. Can't wait to go back.
The food was amazing.
The BBQ chicken pizza my partner ordered along with Chicken wings was delicious.

Arrived early by bicycle and permitted us to store our cycles and gear so we could explore the city. We had a bit of kit, we're on an eleven week cycle tour, and manoeuverimg the stairs, hallways and fire doors took effort. Room was reasonably spacious and ensuite comparative Clean and tidy though at times our noisy neighbours could be clearly heard in the hall outside. Loved that indoor bicycle storage was available and offered freely. Came across a number of reception staffers all were good communicators and quick with answers and ideas to help.

Very friendly and helpful staff, room was clean and spacelus The only downside was that during my stay they were unable to provide breakfast during my stay due to staff issues, I was able to do a 5 - 10 minute walk to Lidl at the side of the hotel to get some thing for my breakfast

This hotel has a great soul but it is a little tired. The room was great and the bathroom was ok. I spent one night here after leaving Inverness as I used it because It was only an hour drive to the Edinburgh airport (I was driving there to drop off my rental car.) It was a 14 minute walk to downtown and I enjoyed the food at the restaurant/pub on site.

Room was clean, however mattress and pillows were too hard. So didn’t have the best sleep. Parking was easy and staff and check in process was easy. Let down by poor shower, out dated bathroom and broken iron.

Le personnel sympathique et serviable. Le restaurant super, en revanche, la chambre décevante... La literie et les coussins horribles.. Les lampes et prises ne fonctionne pas à part à un seul endroit. Les photos mises en avant ne correspondent pas à la chambre que nous avons eu.

Sarah the general manager was amazing. We had a minor issue with our first room and they were quick to resolve it and move us the next day. We arrived very late so we were fine with waiting until the next day. Sarah was so friendly and helpful. She helped my daughter carry her luggage up the stairs. She personally showed us our room and gave us good tips of what to see in the area. She definitely took care of us. She was so much fun to talk to. We were sad to be checking out. Our room was spacious for our family of 4 and the kids enjoyed having an area to themselves. Will definitely be going back the next time we are in the area. Thank you Sarah!
