Hotel was very clean but very dated in need of some serious upgrading and money spent on it. The hot tap in the sink obviously had air in the system you had to be very careful when you turned it on as hot water sprayed everywhere. Receptions did the basics I wouldn't have said it was a warm inviting welcome. Bed was comfy pillows as hard as rocks. Checkout was much warmer reception the lady was lovely. Overall a basic hotel for an overnight stay.

Lovely location for walking through Perth, close to amenities, shopping and restaurants but still felt secluded. Old mill with enjoyable sounds of stream running beside it. Parking on site.

Not as nice as some other Mercure hotels I have stayed at. Bit disappointing that you had to pay to park there and the room seemed a bit on the small side.

Didn't realize it wasn't as convenient as they said it was, The hotel is beyond dated & expensive . 2/10 of the way down the road there are places to stay that are much better in quality and care. I actually didn't feel good about taking a shower in this hotel that's the bathroom was dirty . Bed and pillows were uncomfortable and it was hot in the room with very little air to make it comfortable. Almost a non-existent Wi-Fi. It's below Expedia standards as far as we're concerned. We've been traveling Scotland for 3 weeks and this was the worst! ..

Excellent central location near the station and amenities, with a cool bit of history as a mill with the Perth Lade, visible through a viewing window in the reception floor, running under the building

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Restaurant was good for breakfast and typical pub food in the evenings in the bar. Good location with plenty of parking. Historical building with some interesting features. For summer travelers they do not have AC.

The bedroom furniture was very old, tired and dressing table was sticky. Lampshades dull and falling apart. Holes in the curtains. Magnolia woodchip wallpaper and threadbare carpet. The bed was listed as a double but was more like a queen bed. Bathroom had peach 1960s tiles. A bath with a shower curtain and a trickle of water. Evening meal in the hotel (fish and chips plus pizza) was inedible. Fish was a frozen, overcooked triangle, frozen chips and expensive. Handed it back and asked then to take it off the bill. Breakfast was the only good thing about the hotel. Staff were good.

Lovely hotel, staff were very nice and helpful. The only thing that I was disappointed with was that they run out of coffee. Quite hard to believe for a hotel. I would consider going back though.

Awful hotel. Place was smelling of a type of smoking substance throughout the ground floor. Stains on the carpets. Stayed 10 mins, packed up and booked another hotel. Wrote an email to hotel on Sunday 26th, still not had anything back. Avoid
