"The location is convenient for walking around town. Plenty of restaurants and stores for shopping. Staff were excellent and always help with your luggage. We developed altitude sickness but the hotel had oxygen and an on-call doctor if needed. The breakfast is open 3a-10a. So many options, especially native foods. I would 10/10 recommend this hotel!!"

"The staff was FANTASTIC! There was always someone at the lobby, 24/7 and everyone was always smiling and willing to help. The rooms were clean, the beds were cozy and warm (with an extra blanket!), the wifi was quite good, although there were moments it wasn’t loading. The hotel was very well located! It was near the main square and many restaurants. The breakfast was quite complete, I just wish there had been a few more gluten free options, but there were a few good options to pick from:) Also the staff packed us a breakfast for when our excursion left at 4am, which was so kind of them! I unfortunately suffered from altitude sickness and the staff was very understanding and helpful, they instantly called over a doctor and when I was sick again the next day, they provided an oxygen tank. I am really appreciative of their help and kindness:) Overall, the staff is what makes Taypikala so wonderful:) "

"Great Hotel with excellent breakfast and service. Great water pressure and hot water. We went to Machu Picchu and got delayed for 2 days returning. We had valuables in the room and our check out was expiring. We rebooked and messaged the hotel. They took care of everything. When we returned all our valuables were secured. HIGHLY recommend this hotel."

"It is in the San Blas area so there is a walk uphill to the hotel. Streets and sidewalks are narrow which is why the neighborhood is unique which also means that you will need to go meet any tour vans. In our case someone always came to the hotel and walked us to the meeting points. Taxis and Ubers went right to the hotel. Just a 10-minute or so walk to the main plaza. Plenty of small fun restaurants in the area. If you need laundry done, then do it through the hotel it was cheap. They also arranged taxis to and from airport and more. The breakfast was great as was the staff in general."

"We stayed in the hanging glass capsule. What an adventure! However, safety was top priority. Views are amazing. Property is family owned and Eddy, one of the owners, was on site as well as offered zip lining or hiking. We were greeted with local drink then dinner and breakfast were delicious. The capsule has a jacuzzi with unreal views that we took advantage of! Capsule accommodates up to 4 people and is a unique experience Highly recommend for the adventure seeker. "
