A few things that we were unsure of prior to arriving- as hotel guests we got chairs at the beach club complimentary. As this is the French side we weren’t sure on whether we needed an electrical converter but there was one outlet that we were able to use that was compatible with our US electronics. "I did not enjoy my stay at La villa hibiscus. I stayed at multiple places and this is my least favorite. Although the property is nice and the rooms were cleanly. This place was a ghost town. The main reason we booked was for the restaurant just to get there and the restaurant was closed off. When I reached out to the host she tells me it was closed for off season. That would have been nice to know before booking. Industrial area. The one worker we saw on the property did not speak any English....

Only thing was the housekeeping kept knocking on our door every morning so early. If you like to sleep past 8am or rest after breakfast. Not sure how you can. There is no signs to say we are ok or we need our place serviced. But that’s not a bad problem to have. She was just a sweetheart doing her job so very well. "The entrance through the courtyard was so beautiful, there was a little pond area with about 14 tortoises. The owner was kind enough to give us an early check in with upgrade since our room wasnt ready. The room we got was beautiful and fairly spacious with a back door leading straight to the beach. The bed and bed linens were the most comfortable I've ever had in a hotel. The whole property was gorgeous, friendly staff and perfect location. "First night, my wife was bitten a lot by mosquitos. I pointed it out the staff_all they can say that's normal to us. Our parking in the cabins is said to hold 4 vehicles. Again told the staff and asked if i can just park at the bottom. Being the property is on an uphill, it VERY dangerous to maneuver and park."
