"Good location, average service (staff has great attitude but for example coffee at breakfast comes very late and cold, so a coffee staion might help). The beach and sea were the biggest disappointment. We chose this hotel largely based on the positive beach reviews, but during our stay the weather created very large waves and it was impossible to swim at all. "Id say its cheap and cheerful and you get what you pay for. But, tbh....its not that cheap and they certainly are not cheerful. One member of staff tried her best. The others did not. Never saw the manager doing anything work related. It would have helped as the electrics were going out 15 times a night for the first week. Plus some residents felt it necessary to slam doors all hours of yhe night (its a very echoey building) Told staff, she did nothing. Only on week two did they send a makeshift...

"The pool and access to beach front was very convenient. However, our room was directly in front of the bar/breakfast area so from 0715 they had music already playing so it would be difficult to sleep in. The curtains are also light so the rooms were bright early on. There were no PowerPoints near the bedside table and the showers were sandstone flooring, both of which was inconvenient. I would ask for a room away from the bar to have a little more privacy and quietness."
