"The hotel it's small but super clean and well done. The staff is super helpful and friendly. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom huge. The only thing is that is on a quiet neighborhood so it's like 20 minute walk to the canal and Nishiki market but still centric enough. Also, the futon sounds like a good idea until the second night and your hips are dying...just saying. It's not as easy as you think if you are 35 or older..."

"What a great stay! My family (wife and I plus two teenage girls) stayed in two rooms at Alza and LOVED IT. The rooms are spacious, with incredibly comfy beds and the softest sheets. We had breakfast all days and loved both the Japanese and American versions. We stayed in 201 which had a balcony overlooking the street.
