FOUNDRE Phoenix
Overall a nice, boutique feel hotel but the lighting in the room is pathetic. It is so dark by the sink and vanity it requires a cellphone flashlight - no joke. If you need to look presentable for an important engagement, stay elsewhere.

The room was in bad condition curtains had holes in them they are painting doing repairs without posting to inform their guests.

The staff at the front desk are not friendly. They saw us standing at the Starbucks and waiting to get coffee they didn’t even acknowledge us and tell us they no one is working there, we had to walk away!

The Hotel San Carlos is like a museum. It has an old timey feel to the place. Yet it is well maintained. I thought the Hotel oozed character.
