"This hotel likely had not been stayed at in at least a year. The owner was also not aware we were coming after we had made the Expedia booking. He was very kind and made it work, but this hotel, as well as the entire neighborhood around it, is completely run down and looks as if the town was shut down a decade ago. "I was alone in Hanoi but the staff made me feel secure. They are very welcoming and they give you a lot of attention all trough your stay. I think that the greatest strength of this hotel is the choice of the staff. It is pleasant to have all those people smiling and ready to help.I particularly recommend Mrs Angela, so charismatic with her beautiful smile and so helpful. I loved the proximity of the hotel to the lake and the old town. They also organize good tours. I would recommend that hotel to my friends."
