I took a chance and stayed here as a new opportunity to learn more about the area. The first two days, I had issues with my AC and was difficult to explain how to get there to the local taxis -but eventually all worked out and I was able to get to/from easily. There is no one on staff to help with any issues nor housekeeping - so it is up to you to manage that. Waiting for responses from the management company were delayed... and at first was a bit frustrating, but once all was resolved, it was a good stay. the property is very quiet, guests there generally stick to themselves and don't engage. the pool doesn't get sunlight, as it is on the 2nd floor in between tall floors - so your best bet is to walk/taxi down to the beach. The kitchen was well equipped and that was by far my favorite part of the room. Overall it was a pleasant experience and happy to receive my 5000 baht deposit back.

Bella Location, spaziosa, ben arredata, appena fuori dal centro. Ottimo mix di privacy e comodita'.
Perfect Location, nice, pretty with a good space. PooL view is the best solution, you need motorbike. good for privacy, not to much confusion, inependent but near the centre. Perfect combination

Cons: studio apartment, paid less previous trip for a one bed apartment.
Ironing board in apartment but no iron, was told someone would bring one, no one did, asked again the next day, told someone would bring one the following day, at this point I gave up and just bought my own.
Fridge made spontaneous, weird noises.
Air con a bit noisy inside and outside.
Woken one morning by a cleaner unlocking and opening my door, why not just knock first?
Two weeks stay, bedding never changed or replaced, no extra bedding provided so had to wash it at my own expense.
Experienced over 24 hours of no electric, contacted lofty villas expecting some help or solution but got nothing, not even some money back for the loss of a days booking.
Finally, received a message two days before check out, asking what time I'd be checking out, if your check out policy is 11am, why do you need to ask what time I'm checking out, just check the apartment after 11am.
Pros: everything else was cool, I would never tell people not to book an apartment at Emerald terrace but personally, If I book an apartment here again, I'll book it through the block owners or a private host, more attentive.

The property is beautiful! It is exactly as advertised in pictures. We really enjoyed our stay here, we walked to patong beach and the markets most days. The pool and gym are clean and in good condition. The room itself is very clean and well maintained. There is security badges to get into the building which is nice. Staff are friendly. FYI approx 5000 baht cash deposit on arrival - we were prepared for that deposit.
